We have been busy busy in the New Year improving and re-decorating both Gites, giving them a fresh and glamorous new look.
The clutter in the corner has now become a built in cupboard and washing up a thing of the past with a new dishwasher.

All the Christmas and New Year festivities are but a fuzzy memory. Winter is here, forcing us to cover our ever increasing waist bands. What's to do, look forward to the warmer weather and holidays.
We already have a number of our summer weeks booked with returning guests. So if you like what you see on our website, don't delay as we expect those remaining to be booked over the next few weeks. We wish everyone the very best for 2018 and may all your dreams and ambitions come true. |

New Games for 2017

We are always trying to find ways to improve our guests experiences.
We have seen the Football Snooker a few times on the internet and decided it would be a great safe game for all the family to play. Also table football is always a firm favourite with the young ones and the not so young. Mum's and Dad's you can always use the excuse you have to test before allowing the children to play!!!!! Both Games will be open for play May, 2017. |

A Wedding Party with Great Family and Great Friends

What can we say about 3 days of celebrations with our family and friends - FUN FUN FUN.
Fitting everyone in did require and few people to share bedroom space or tents in the field and the cooking of meals for 25 people presented a few interesting logistical problems. A major positive we didn't poison anyone and alcohol helped kill any bugs and smooth the occasional wrinkle. Rose as always organised many sporting activities, including bouncy castle, billiards, table tennis, welly wanging and especially fun in the swimming pool. The biggest sporting success of the day was the human hungry hippos, great to play or watch, although we think there was a little cheating going on with ball counting. At Last a Few Photos of our Marriage

Rose managed to do a fantastic job organising our marriage in such a short time.
Everything went like clockwork, including our little party piece at the end of the registry office ceremony. It was a shame some of Rose's family were not able to attend due to other commitments, especially Daren and his children and Rose's mum & dad. As mentioned previously this is only the first part of our marital celebrations. We are now planning a grand celebration here in France later in the year. We have some Exciting News, our Marriage

This very special day is planned for 8th November, 2014. The ceremony is going to be with our immediate family and closest friends, as we have always planned for a much bigger event to take place here in France.
We have been so busy over the past 4 years and this event always seemed to be planned for next month, next year .... so no more!!!! |
High Season Closes for 2014

Another Season comes to an end and what a season, good weather, great guests and lots of social evenings. Our personal speciality of burnt bbq sausages washed down with fabulous french wine went down a storm.
New, this season has been the ingredient of very polite french children staying for sejour and film nights beneath the stars. The 'Lion King' and 'Frozen' will never be the same without the moon and stars as the backdrop. 
We also reached a personal milestone, Neil celebrated his 60th birthday with an evening to remember. Apologies to the guests for that night, we may have kept a few awake with our celebrations.
Although, the celebrations were slightly tarnished with an unfortunate accident. Our 4 year old grandson fell in the field and broke his collar bone. He was very brave and has since made a complete recovery. The photo shows his mum colouring his brace, as he thought it made him look like a Power Ranger .... |
